Japan’s convenience store scene is behind Nike’s latest Air Max 95 project. The “Lawson” colorway joins a 7-Eleven-inspired pair in the “Konbini” Pack, giving two familiar chains their own take on the layered runner.
Lawson’s version leans heavily on the blue used across its storefronts and signage. Grey suede covers the toe and tongue, while blue runs across each of the Air Max 95’s wavy side panels. Red sits behind those layers and shows through near the upper edges, adding another piece of the retailer’s color palette without turning the shoe into a logo-heavy tribute.
We also get blue-and-white rope laces to finish off the shoes. Across from it, the 7-11 pair follows suit with a similarly chilling two-tone design in white and green.
Although Lawson is now closely tied to Japan, the company began in Ohio in 1939. The name later disappeared from American stores through corporate consolidation, while its Japanese operation grew into one of the country’s most recognizable convenience store chains.
The Nike Air Max 95 “Lawson” releases July 11, 2026, exclusively through atmos Japan for $200. Despite 7-11 Lawsuit, a wider release will take place July 25th via SNKRS.
