The Nike Air Max 90 “Realtree” takes a restrained approach to camouflage, letting the iconic runner speak first.

On this shoe the Realtree camouflage print doesn’t cover everything. By keeping it to the lining, collar, tongue tag and insoles you’ve got restraint. It’s muted further by black leather, mesh upper and Dark Smoke Grey suede at the quarter. While still very much a sneaker you can take outside, it feels more like a lifestyle Air Max. Case in point: how most people will actually wear it.

Dropped Grey TPU panels and a desaturated midsole wedge help build on that. Black surrounds everything else on the sole unit to balance it all out. Lastly, a reflective Metallic Cool Grey Swoosh gives the shoe a subtle boost when light hits at night. This camo Air Max 90 recalls previous woodlands-inspired Nike footwear, but still manages to keep it pretty city-centric.
