Nike is updating its Air Max 90 lineup with a bold yet refined “Obsidian” colorway for Summer 2025. This edition keeps things clean and sleek, while playing with texture and tone for added visual depth.

The upper features a nearly monochrome Obsidian hue across mesh, suede, and leather. Coarse mesh on the toe box and plush suede overlays replace standard materials, giving the shoe a rugged, tactile edge. The construction stays true to the original design but adds a fresh layer of luxury.

To add contrast, Nike introduces pops of “Lightning” yellow on the tongue branding, heel logo, and Air unit. These vibrant details bring just the right amount of energy to the otherwise stealthy color scheme. The result is a sneaker that blends minimalism with bold flair.
