Nike is preparing to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic Air Max 90, introducing a fresh “Hyper Royal” colorway to re-energize this classic silhouette. The Air Max 90 has been a symbol in sneaker culture for decades, and this release honors its history while infusing a modern touch.

The “Hyper Royal” edition stands out with its bold color scheme and unique materials. It highlights the vibrant blue shade on key elements like the eyestay, midsole wedge, and heel patch. This intense hue pairs perfectly with the sleek black leather mudguard, adding depth to the design. A clean white mesh base and soft grey suede overlays further elevate its timeless appeal. These colors work together to create a balance of classic and contemporary aesthetics.

One of the subtle yet significant updates to this model is the change in the tongue’s material. Instead of the usual satin, Nike opted for white netting, providing a modern feel and a slightly different texture. This change adds a fresh twist to the classic look, enhancing comfort without losing the traditional Air Max 90 vibe.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Hyper Royal” is set to release in Holiday 2024. This edition will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers in-store, online, and on Nike.com. Released in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130 USD.
