The Nike Air Max 90 takes part of the Nike’s Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) collection releasing in October.

The Air Max 90 takes inspiration from Día de Muertos, a Mexican tradition that celebrates life and death while honoring family and beloved ones. Inspired by the traditional ofrenda placed in homes every year during the Día de Muertos celebration, it remixes heritage with a modern approach grounded on art and culture. It takes color and material inspiration from Mexican ofrendas: altars used to welcome the dead home during Día de Muertos celebrations. Bright colors throughout the upper mirror the eye-catching decorations commonly seen on traditional ofrendas.

Nike Air Max 90 Day of the Dead Release Date

Look for the Nike Air Max 90 “Day of the Dead” to release on October 27th at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $140 USD.
