Nike first launched the Air Max 1 in 1987, which was inspired by the Pompidou Centre in Paris, designed by Tinker who was originally an architect before creating the iconic model. Interesting enough, Nike just announced an upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Centre Pompidou” Pack, which is inspired by just that.

Adding to the forever growing lineup is a brand new iteration of the Nike Air Max 1. This release features a White mesh toe, with a White leather Swoosh, and Red overlays. A White midsole and Gum rubber outsole completes the design.
