Built around a full-length Air setup that looks almost poured under the shoe, Nike’s Air Liquid Max takes visible cushioning in a much different direction. On the “Black/Radiant Blue” colorway, Nike keeps the upper dark so the Aurora Green cushioning can stand out right away.

The upper consists of black mesh accented with suede-like overlays. Radiant Blue and Aurora Green accents weave across the lower panels in an undulating pattern reminiscent of flowing liquid, connecting the upper to the theme once more. Chrome plated Swooshes located on the sides create an extra sharp contrast with the majority black construction.

The biggest detail sits underfoot. A translucent Aurora Green Air unit stretches from heel to toe, shaped with rounded pods that give the sneaker its bubbled-out look. Nike carries that teal tone onto the midsole and heel clip, while purple traction pods show up underneath for a stronger contrast.

Black laces, striped tongue labels, Aurora Green insoles with black Swoosh branding, and Air Max branding on the heel tabs and outsole finish the design. The shoe has a lot going on below the upper, but the darker materials help keep the colorway from feeling too busy.

The Nike Air Liquid Max “Black/Radiant Blue” arrives in a Black/Radiant Blue-Aurora Green-Chrome colorway. Pairs are expected to release Summer 2026 through Nike.com and select retailers for $210.
