The Nike Air Huarache is a classic silhouette of its own, and now Nike Sportswear has upgraded the iconic model with the release of the Nike Air Huarache Mid for the colder months of Fall/Winter 2015.

Upon its debut in 1991, the Nike Air Huarache disrupted traditional notions of sneaker design. Its exoskeleton and neoprene inner-sleeve offered a supremely comfortable, secure fit in an unbelievably lightweight package ideal for summer. The shoe’s latest evolution, the Nike Sportswear Women’s Air Huarache Run Mid, retains the Air Huarache’s original assets, but tailors them to cooler weather. Primary updates include increased ankle height, iridescent and water-repellant molded leather uppers, a shrouded exoskeleton with a waterproof zipper, a gusseted tongue and a sticky rubber outsole.
