During the early 2000s, Nike released the Air Force 1 “West Indies” celebrating the West Indian Day Parade Carnival held annually on the first Monday of September in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
There were four different colorways released celebrating the culture of West Indies from 2002 to 2005. For 2022, Nike will be bringing back the OG 2002 colorway in celebration of its 20th Anniversary and 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1.
Dressed in a White and Classic Green color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low will stay true to the OG 2002 release. It comes detailed with West Indies branding on the tongue tags, lace dubraes, and embroidered lateral heel in the Caribbean colors. Finishing off the design are graphic insoles listing all the small islands of the Caribbean.
