Nike Air Force 1 Low “Patent Denim” Releases July 8th

Published on

Nike’s “Patent Denim” Air Force 1 Low takes a familiar fabric treatment in a different direction. Rather than using raw denim across the upper, the Coastal Blue material is sealed beneath a glossy finish. The weave still shows through, as do the darker patches around the heel and side panels.

That uneven blue shading keeps the shoe from looking like a standard patent leather release. Denim covers the toe, eyestays, quarter panels, Swooshes, and heel, with Flax stitching tracing most of the construction. Matching embroidery lands on the tongue labels, mini Swooshes, insoles, and Nike Air branding at the back.

Coastal Blue laces feed through eyelets that are topped with Flax-colored trim. Silver AF1 dubraes rest near the toe, while thin white stripes separate the heel panels. These are small details, but they work to break up the different sections of an otherwise heavily blue upper.

A Natural-colored sole finishes the pair with a translucent, slightly yellowed look. It gives the shoe some warmth and fits the aged sole treatment Nike has used across several recent Air Force 1 releases.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Patent Denim” comes in Coastal Blue, Natural, Flax, and Coastal Blue. The pair will release July 8, 2026 through SNKRS and select retailers.
