Much like they did last year with the Dunk Low and Air Griffey 1 Cleat, Nike Sportswear will once again be celebrating Jackie Robinson, an American professional baseball player who became the first African American to play in Major League, with a special edition Air Force 1.

This offering of the Nike Air Force 1 Low arrives in a color blocking nodding to the throwback Brooklyn Dodgers uniforms. Some of the key details includes Jackie’s #42 embroidered on the heel, team logo on the tongue, “Change The World” text on the laces, and lace dubraes commemorating both the year Jackie broke the color barrier (1947) and the year he retired (1956). The shoe comes constructed in a mix of tumbled and smooth leather with baseball stitching on the heels atop a Gum AF1 rubber sole.
