Nike Revives The Air Force 1 Low ’01 in Classic “Triple White” Style

Published on

Nike is refreshing the Air Force 1 Low ’01 “Triple White” silhouette utilizing a mold from the shoe’s archives. Rather than rocking the typical Air Force 1 ’07 silhouette that most recent releases come on, this silhouette references the shoe’s 2001 construction. Utilizing the older build will offer the all-white staple a slightly altered profile while maintaining what made the shoe so classic.

Crafted completely in white leather, from the laces and Swoosh branding to the lining, stitching and midsole this Triple White colorway is truly clean. While the color blends are identical to what we’ve come to expect from an everyday white-on-white AF1, the mold has changed. The older ’01 mold dates back to a cleaner retro time period than what the modern AF1 ’07 offers.

Nike has certainly been dropping its archival Air Force 1 Low ’01s via collaborations and retro releases recently, but this could be an indication that the brand will debut more non-exclusive colorways in the vintage silhouette.
