In 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 landed on the hardwood to introduce Nike Air technology to the sport of Basketball. From court to culture, the next 30 years bore witness to the rise of an icon, and eventually a family, that would forever change the sneaker world.
Forged with three core design principles – lightweight, breathability and comfort – the Nike Air Force 1 CMFT takes the beloved style of the original and infuses new levels of luxury. Trademark Nike AF1 details such as metal dubrés, circular pivot points, crown-shaped vamp perforations and encapsulated Air-sole units, are joined by drop-in Lunarlon foam insoles for maximum lightweight, flexible cushioning.
No detail was overlooked. The premium leather upper flaunts rolled edges, a patent leather Swoosh and heel tab, as well as the classic triple-white colorway made popular by its mid- and low-top brothers.
The Nike Air Force 1 HI CMFT will be available at select Nike retailers starting July 20.
