Halloween releases can get pretty literal, but the Air Force 1 ’01 “Nightmare” takes a different route for 2026. The shoe sticks with a black and red setup, then works the horror theme into the actual build instead of covering the upper with obvious seasonal graphics.

Most of the shoe is done in black leather, with red showing along the cut edges, stitching, lining, and branding. Small silver rivets are spread across the upper, especially around the toe and side panels, giving the Air Force 1 a rougher, almost pieced-together look. The red lines running underneath the hardware make those details stand out even more.

Nike says the design pulls from vintage horror movies. There is no official movie tie-in, but the black leather, red accents, and metal hardware make the Pinhead comparisons easy to understand. It has that same sharp, industrial look without directly using imagery from Hellraiser.

This pair will be part of Nike’s Halloween 2026 lineup, adding another darker Air Force 1 to the seasonal collection.
