Portland-based retailer Index has once again given sneakerheads something to talk about. They’ve unveiled an unreleased glow-in-the-dark Nike Air Foamposite Pro sample, sparking speculation and excitement in the sneaker community.
This exclusive version stands out with a fully glow-in-the-dark upper. The glow effect extends across the lace collar and the entire elephant print pattern throughout the shoe. This pattern pays tribute to the iconic design element first seen on the Air Jordan 3, combining classic aesthetics with modern innovation.
Nike previously released an Air Foamposite Pro “Elephant Print” in 2014. However, that pair lacked the luminous glow feature and came with a bright pink outsole. This newly revealed sample shows Nike’s exploration into more dynamic and visually striking Foamposite designs.
With Foamposites currently making a strong comeback in the sneaker market, many wonder if Nike will revisit this concept for a future release. The rare sample was listed and has already sold at Index for a hefty price tag of $2,500, highlighting just how coveted unique Nike samples are.
As the demand for standout sneaker designs grows, a glow-in-the-dark Nike Air Foamposite Pro could become a must-have release. Sneaker enthusiasts will be keeping a close eye on Nike to see if they bring this innovative design to life.
