Nigel Sylvester Wears His Unreleased Air Jordan 1 PE For Unbannable Series

Published on

Jordan Brand is ramping up promotions for the Air Jordan 1 “Bred Reimagined” with the UNBANNABLE photo series, featuring top-tier ambassadors like Travis Scott and Nigel Sylvester. While Scott spotlights the “Black Toe Reimagined” Air Jordan 1, Sylvester takes a different approach—diving into his personal archives to showcase an unreleased Air Jordan 1 PE from 2022.

Though Sylvester is now linked to his Jordan 4 RM “Bike Air” and Jordan 4 “Brick By Brick”, his Jumpman journey began with the Air Jordan 1. This unreleased PE differs from his well-known 2018 distressed pair, opting for a stealthy black leather upper with his signature mini Swoosh, aged midsole, and a pre-worn aesthetic. The distressed details, gold Jumpman branding, and red outsole add depth to the design, reflecting his BMX roots.

Beyond individual highlights, the UNBANNABLE campaign reinforces Jordan Brand’s legacy, connecting Travis Scott’s influence in streetwear and Nigel Sylvester’s impact in BMX and sneaker culture to the original NBA ban on the Air Jordan 1.

While Sylvester’s Air Jordan 1 PE won’t release, his Air Jordan 4 collaborations and the Air Jordan 1 “Bred Reimagined” will keep fans engaged. Expect the “Bred Reimagined” to drop on February 14, 2025.
