Four New Balance Numeric skate shoes are releasing this fall, with two pairs of the 480 and two of the 442. The 480 comes from the brand’s old basketball lineup, while the 442 is based on a soccer shoe. Both have been updated for skating.
The Numeric 480 lineup includes a collaboration with Scotland’s Focus Skate Shop, featuring blue suede, white leather, and unicorn graphics. Special co-branding appears throughout the shoe. Another 480 arrives in Black and Charcoal Grey with a weather-resistant GORE-TEX upper, developed alongside New Balance skateboarder Jordan Trahan.
Two new versions of the Numeric 442 are also part of the collection. Originally introduced around the World Cup, the soccer-inspired skate shoe returns in White/Dark Night and Dark Night/White. Both pairs feature suede uppers, with the colors reversed between the two releases.
The New Balance Numeric Fall 2026 collection begins releasing October 9 with the GORE-TEX 480, followed by the Focus Scotland collaboration on October 16. Both Numeric 442 colorways arrive at skate shops on October 30, with a wider release through New Balance scheduled for November 2, 2026.
