A bright burst of color is giving one of New Balance’s most refined runners a fresh push for spring. Set to arrive in Grenadine/Fire Whirl, this latest Made in UK drop brings heat to the New Balance 991v2 “Grenadine” without losing the model’s premium identity.

That energy starts with the upper, where vivid orange suede wraps the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and side panels. Beneath it, darker orange mesh adds texture and depth, helping the 991v2 feel layered instead of flat. It is a strong color story, but the shape still does the work.

Grey accents settle everything down in the right spots. The oversized N logos, laces, tongue branding, heel tabs, and forefoot overlays all arrive in muted grey, creating a cleaner balance against the warmer shades. That contrast gives this Made in UK New Balance release a sharper, more composed finish.

Construction-wise, the sneakers underfoot retain that lifted sensation synonymous with the collection. Cream/off-white Midsole is accented with visible pods of cushioning while darkened heel clip and black rubber Outsole piece things together. Don’t miss the blue FuelCell panel lurking underneath either, as this piece helps give the New Balance silhouette just a touch of technical appeal.
