The New Balance 530 is due for a fresh update before summer ends, picking up polka dots for an extra dose of character over the traditionally white-and-silver sneaker. Most of the upper donates feature the playful pattern, but is offset by the classic color scheme.

White textile serves as the base while polka dots are printed across the toe box, overlays, and heel in an all-over tone-on-tone pattern. Silver Metallic overlays are used on the rest of the upper, maintaining the signature 530 layered appearance. White accents on the laces, branding, and midsole let the polka dots steal the show.

After its original release in 1992, the New Balance 530 became popular as a lifestyle trainer. Thanks to its bulky silhouette, it was able to hop on the retro runner trend when it rose to popularity. But its comfy ABZORB cushioning allowed it to transcend trends and remain in rotation.

The New Balance 530 “Polka Dots” will be available July 29, 2026 via New Balance and select retailers for $110.
