In Boston, Massachusetts, an English immigrant named William J. Riley founded New Balance back in 1906. Named after the year the brand was founded, the 1906R is inspired by running shoe designs from the 2000s. Known more as a lifestyle silhouette, the 1906R combines both a timeless look with modern tech upgrades. Expanding its lineup for the Spring/Summer months, we now take a look at this new “Eclipse” colorway.
Dressed in a mix of Black, Silver, and Eclipse color tones. This offering of the New Balance 1906 comes constructed with an open mesh base, leather overlays and classic “N” logos on the sides. Its signature N-Lock system stabilizes the laterals while a TPU heel counter adds support. A solid Black rubber sole completes the design.
