The New Balance 1890A is heading into fall with a much hairier look. The upcoming “Cowprint” pair mixes an off-white suede base with black-and-white spotted fur across the vamp and side panels, putting a barnyard spin on the model’s loafer-inspired shape.

Black on the midsole and outsole picks up the darker spots across the upper, while white rope-style laces keep the rest of the design simple. Most of the character comes from the materials, with the mix of shaggy suede and fur doing more than extra color or branding would.

This is not the first animal-inspired 1890A of 2026. A pale yellow snakeskin version appeared earlier in the year, and the Cowprint pair continues that direction with a heavier texture across the upper. The model’s low, loafer-like shape stays the same, but the material change gives it a noticeably different feel.

The New Balance 1890A “Cowprint” releases September 16, 2026, through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Retail price is set at $190.
