The New Balance 1000 “Black/Neon” features a nostalgic runner with a hyper aggressive twist.

The upper, tongue, and laces are dipped in neon green and the mudguard, midsole, and lining in black. The combination is wild but not over the top. It has an aggressive but balanced vibe with standout details that aren’t overkill.

There is one major change made in this release. Instead of traditional overlays across the eyelets, there are embossed and stitched details that maintain the signature curves of the model. On previous colorways, the brand used mesh in this area, but on this occasion, the label used smooth leather to structure the model.

The New Balance 1000 “Black/Neon” is set to drop Holiday 2025 on NewBalance.com and select retailers for $150 USD.
