Vans and NEIGHBORHOOD reunite on the Authentic 44 once again, part of a two-piece pack collab tied to their Paris Fashion Week debut. Shinuke Takizawa’s brand plays it somewhat safe, sticking with suede, toned down branding and olive army-inspired lettering rather than completely distorting the vintage Vans formula.

Black suede and chalk white suede make up the pack. Both pairs stay mostly tonal, with debossed wording pressed into the toe box for a stamped look that loosely points to NEIGHBORHOOD’s dog tag-inspired style. It is a small detail, but it gives the shoe its identity without making the design feel crowded.

The sidewalls add the clearest branding hit with etched serif lettering that reads “Craft With Pride Tokyo Est. 1994.” Against the plain suede upper, that line does most of the work and ties the release back to NEIGHBORHOOD’s founding year.

Vans and NEIGHBORHOOD have worked together for close to two decades, and the Authentic has been part of that run before. This latest pack stays simple, but the suede build, tonal finish, and stamped details make it feel more specific to NEIGHBORHOOD than a standard Vans Authentic.
