Michael Jordan Talks About the NBA Banning his Air Jordan 1

What the NBA did about thirty years ago may have been the best thing ever for Nike – still to this date.

As the story goes, when Nike officially unveiled the Air Jordan 1 in its Chicago Bulls colors that’s now known as “Bred,” the NBA banned them as they stated it was the colors of the devil. The result was a little fine and now the rest his history.

While we wait for the official unveiling of the Air Jordan XXX1 that’s set to take place tomorrow, July 20th. Jordan Brand releases this short clip of Michael Jordan discussing the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 story.
