MENACE x adidas Superstar “Old Rose” Honors Mother’s Day

MENACE brings a personal story into its latest adidas project with the Superstar “Old Rose” edition. The Los Angeles streetwear label reunites with adidas Originals for a Mother’s Day release inspired by founder Steven Mena’s mother and her favorite flower.

Dusty rose pink suede shapes most of the upper, giving the sneaker a soft but textured finish. Floral embossing appears across the panels, while stitched overlays add a rugged touch that connects back to MENACE’s workwear-driven design language. Cream laces and Three Stripes balance the upper with a warmer, vintage feel.

Pink leather lands on the heel tab and shell toe, keeping the color story consistent from front to back. A gum midsole and outsole complete the look, while quilted cream lining adds a more detailed finish inside the shoe. MENACE branding appears near the heel, with a white “M” logo embroidered on the back.

Steven Mena designed the pair as a tribute to his immigrant mother and the sacrifices that helped shape his path in fashion. That personal story gives the MENACE adidas Superstar “Old Rose” a deeper purpose beyond its floral theme.

The MENACE x adidas Superstar 82 “Old Rose” releases May 10, 2026, through adidas CONFIRMED and the MENACE website. MENACE and adidas will also host a Mother’s Day weekend pop-up flower shop in Los Angeles on May 9th, featuring flowers, food, drinks, and limited tees while supplies last.
