Los Angeles football culture runs through MENACE’s new adidas Originals project, which brings the Predator ’94 back into the mix with two Los Ángeles jerseys. The collection pulls from the city’s everyday playing spots — schoolyard pitches, fenced-in blacktops, neighborhood courts — and ties it all to the same sky and late-afternoon sun sitting over LA.
MENACE founder and head designer Steven Mena split the footwear into two sides of that idea. “Cielo” comes in soft sky-blue leather, while the still-unrevealed “Sol” colorway is expected to use suede with a warmer golden-hour feel. Chrome hardware, paisley details, hexagonal adidas lace charms, and MENACE branding on the tongue appear across both pairs.
Chain-link quilting provides Predator ’94 with its most direct Los Angeles reference. The texture mimics fencing that surrounds courts and fields around the city. It’s the type of aesthetic you grow accustomed to seeing when you’re playing games at these venues.
The jerseys follow the same sky-and-sun split without overcomplicating it. Halo White keeps the look toned down with a gothic “LA” hit on the front and a sun-and-teardrop graphic across the back. Hora de Oro, Spanish for golden hour, uses the same artwork but shifts into a marigold-to-red fade for the collection’s warmer side.
MENACE and Fútbol Society will introduce the collection at World of Sound, a free block party in LA’s Fashion District this Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. Live music, food, and early access to the release will be part of the event.
The MENACE x adidas Originals Los Angeles Collection releases July 14, 2026 through MENACE and the adidas CONFIRMED app.
