Pro skateboarder Margielyn Didal has teamed up with New Balance Numeric to release a collaborative 272 inspired by the Filipino rice cake, Puso.

Introduced to skateboarding at an early age, Didal used to sell puso at her local skateparks in the Philippines. This offering of the New Balance Numeric 272 features Black suede toe box with embossed weave pattern on the panels to mimic the look and feel of the coconut leaves used in puso to wrap the rice. Additional details includes Margielyn’s initials M.A.D. on the right heel and the area code for Cebu, 032, on the left atop a Black vulcanized midsole, Gum outsole with puso graphic insoles.
