Jordan Brand will be releasing an extremely limited Air Jordan 12 dubbed, Air Jordan 12 “Wings” that’s inspired by the man behind the Jumpman earning his Wings time and time again.
Jordan Brand’s WINGS community action program employs education, mentorship and the power of sport to instill the confidence needed to unleash the greatness embodied by the iconic Jumpman logo in everyone.
This “Wings” edition Air Jordan 12 resembles the “Playoffs” colorway but adds a luxurious finish with the use of Gold accents on the eyelets and midsole that represents the achievement of wings earned, while the shoe reads “Wings” instead of the traditional Jumpman.
The Black upper reveals a Golden Wings pattern after being wiped, agitated, and rubbed on its natural surface. Finishing off the release is the Michael Jordan “Wings” logo from iconic poster seen on the heel, along with special graphic Wings insoles to match the shoe’s upper.

UPDATE: Nike drops their official images of the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Wings” release that reveals Gold Wings after being wiped, agitated, and rubbed on its natural surface. The release will debut this Saturday, April 2nd on SNKRS via The Draw (10am-11am EDT).

According to @_po2345, this release is non-affiliated Macklemore x Air Jordan 12, instead the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” is a charity release with proceeds going to the WINGS Foundation. Jordan Brand will only be releasing 12,000 pairs in April 2016. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for the official unveiling and details coming soon.
UPDATE: According to @zsneakerheadz, there is a similar Air Jordan 12 to Macklemore’s Air Jordan 12 “Wings” that will be releasing. The release is said to be limited to only 12,000 pairs and has a case over the Gold lace holders. Stay tuned for the first look and updates as they develop.
