The Lightning McQueen Crocs are getting a Dinoco makeover as part of the 20th anniversary celebration for Disney and Pixar’s Cars. Instead of bringing back McQueen in his usual red racing colors, Crocs is using the blue Dinoco look tied to one of the character’s biggest what-if moments from the original movie.

The Cars x Crocs Lightning McQueen Dinoco Classic Clog keeps the same molded car shape used on earlier McQueen releases. Bright blue covers nearly the entire clog, while orange and white graphics bring in the Dinoco racing theme. The company’s dinosaur logo appears across the top, with additional Dinoco branding placed on the strap and rear spoiler.

Lightning McQueen’s face is still worked into the front of the clog, including the windshield eyes and smiling grille. His number 95 is printed along the side, joined by racing graphics, faux wheels, tire branding, and smaller details around the heel. Crocs also added graphics around the rear that continue the race car look from one side of the shoe to the other.

One of the biggest additions is the oversized wing attached to the heel strap. The spoiler rises above the back of the clog and carries more Dinoco branding, making the blue version noticeably different from the standard Lightning McQueen design beyond the color change alone. The strap can still be worn around the heel, with the wing becoming part of the overall car-shaped build.

The Dinoco theme comes from Lightning McQueen’s dream sequence in the first Cars movie, where he imagines leaving Rust-eze behind and racing for the more prestigious sponsor.

The Cars x Crocs Lightning McQueen Dinoco Classic Clog releases September 16, 2026, through Crocs and select retailers. Retail price is set at $80.
