The LEGO x Nike Air Max 95 “Lucky Green” kicks off another playful kids release under the Nike and LEGO collab. This grade school sneaker duo will reportedly drop soon retailing for $162 USD. Colors were kept simple on this build featuring Lucky Green, Black, Green Strike, and Metallic Silver.

Nike keeps the multi-sectioned design of the Air Max 95s, but dresses it up in a much more rugged aesthetic with LEGO cues. The segmented brick pattern extends over the sides, mudguard and midsole, complete with green and black bricks highlighted with dotted accents that are sure to set this release apart from your typical kids’ Air Max.

The colorway drips with video-game style, especially when you factor in the neon green base color and pixelated patterning. It is not, however, an official Minecraft collab, though we can see where you’d make that comparison. For young sneakerheads out there, the overlap of LEGO bricks, construction-themed games, and a Nike classic should be reason enough to cop.

Branding is minimal throughout keeping the design clean without cluttering up the shoe. The LEGO logo is placed on the tongue while Nike x LEGO stamps the heel spine. Metallic Silver Swooshes placed on the lateral heel provide just a hint of flash amongst the dense green-and-black color scheme. Purple accents on the outsole provide the sneaker with just one more pop of an unexpected color down below.

This LEGO x Nike Air Max 95 “Lucky Green” is the latest shoe for kids that mixes the fun of collecting with the practicality of everyday wear. Taking inspiration from the bricks with overlays and its vibrant colorway while retaining the heritage of the Air Max 95 silhouette, this sneaker was built with kids in mind who want something extra playful compared to your average elementary school shoe.
