For Kith’s 16th anniversary in 2027, Ronnie Fieg is going big with Nike: 16 collaborations, all under a project called “Sweet 16.” Fieg shared the plan during a recent interview with Complex, saying the lineup will pull from 16 of his favorite Nike silhouettes.
Fieg said the name was inspired by his daughters and the traditional Sweet 16 milestone. That idea also happened to fit perfectly with Kith turning 16, giving him a reason to build an entire Nike project around the same number. Which shoes made the lineup is still unknown.
There are plenty of possibilities considering how long Fieg and Kith have worked with Nike. The Air Force 1 has already been part of several Kith releases, while 2027 also marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Foamposite One and Air Max 97. Neither model has been confirmed for “Sweet 16.”
One possible clue came from Fieg himself last year when he shared a list of his 10 favorite Nike sneakers of all time. It doesn’t confirm what will be included in the anniversary project, but it does give a better idea of the Nike models he has always had a connection with.
A 16-shoe collection would easily make “Sweet 16” one of the largest projects Kith and Nike have done together. For now, Fieg is keeping the individual pairs quiet, with more details expected as 2027 gets closer.
