Taiwanese high-end brand kim-a: has just revealed its latest creation — “The Gold Sneaker.” The Nike Air Force 1, embroidered with solid gold, is set to cost a price of $330,000.
To be showcased at ComplexCon Las Vegas (October 25–26), the sneaker draws inspiration from the Golden Crow and Jade Hare myth, which tells the story of “The Way of Sun and Moon.”
The black left shoe signifies the Crow and darkness, and the white right shoe signifies the Hare and light. Both are stitched with 0.1 mm gold thread, and include 100% pure gold eyelets, branding, and kim-a:’s signature blue. The gold embellishments even reach the outsole.
“The Gold Sneaker” is currently valued at $330,000, a price that can change according to the cost of gold. Enquiries can be made via kim-a:’s website following the reveal at ComplexCon.
