“You see me in interviews how I want to do clothes… I want to let you know I signed my deal a week and a half ago.” – Kanye West
Kanye West broke the news during his performance (you can check it out below) which he went on a rant dissing Nike and their relationship. Ye recently spent time with Y-3 lead designer Yohji Yamamoto, at the 2014 Mercedes Benz NYNW show.
How will this effect the along awaited Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” release? Well in talks with several people the release still looks to have the green light (due to Ye’s contract with Nike) and is expected to release some time in the future (no official word). Kanye West looks to be motivated and ready to launch his new line with adidas Y-3. Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for more word on the new signing, and let us know what you think of this new partnership?
