Jonathan Anderson is set to release his third and final capsule from his first-ever Converse collection dubbed, “New Classics.”

The drop consists of the Converse Chuck 70 U-Throat Ballet and the Chuck 70 XX Hi. Both are inspired from the vintage ballet slipper, as the shoes have been constructed using natural materials for a technical build. Each model features open cotton knit uppers, leather detailing, and rubber foxing atop a vulcanized sole.

“The vintage ballerina that inspired the shoe was actually more of a sport slipper in mesh,” says Anderson. “I liked the functionality and lightness of that shoe, and we decided to adopt some details to reinterpret the icon.”
