The partnership marks a notable first for the line, as Watkins becomes the first athlete to help shape a performance model within the NXXT Gen platform.

Built around her style of play, the silhouette focuses on speed, control, and quick reactions. A full-length React midsole keeps the ride low and responsive, while dual forefoot Air Zoom units add bounce for explosive first steps and sharp direction changes. Up top, a flexible leather build works with TPU support to provide structure without slowing things down, giving the shoe a balance of lockdown and mobility.

The “Light Crimson” colorway pushes things further visually. A saturated red palette takes over the upper, now reworked with shaggy suede across the toe, eyestays, and tongue. That material shift adds texture and depth, giving the shoe a more expressive look compared to earlier pairs. Tonal branding blends into the design, while JuJu’s personal logo on the tongue keeps her presence front and center.

Unveiled in the “Silver Lining” colorway during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, the release reflects Nike’s growing confidence in Watkins as a future face of the game.
