JuJu Watkins is getting her first Nike EYBL player-exclusive colorway, adding another chapter to her growing work with the LeBron NXXT Gen line.
Nike has continued to position Watkins as one of the future faces of its basketball division. Instead of giving the USC star a traditional signature model right away, the brand has allowed her to help shape special versions of LeBron James’ non-numbered performance shoe. Previous releases included the “Silver Lining” and USC-inspired colorways.
Her latest pair was reportedly created for the upcoming Nike Nationals girls basketball championship. The design stands out with a bright lime green upper, while hot pink covers the Swoosh logos, inner lining, and parts of the outsole. EYBL branding is placed on one tongue, with LeBron’s crown logo appearing on the other.
The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen by JuJu “EYBL” marks Watkins’ first sneaker tied to Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League. Although the pair is currently considered a player exclusive, several EYBL colorways have received wider releases in recent years.
