Originally debuted on the Air Jordan 5 back in 2006, Jordan Brand is bringing back the “Shy Pink” blocking onto their newest hybrid model, the Jordan MVP (678).
The model itself takes elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8, all of which were designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, as well as celebrating the shoes that Michael Jordan wore during his first three-peat from 1991-1993 in victories over the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns.
Dressed in an Off White, Cool Grey, Medium Soft Pink, White, and Sail color scheme. This offering of the Jordan MVP features a White leather upper with Pink contrasting accents throughout. Other notable details nodding back to the three Air Jordans are the tongues, TPU paint strokes, midsole, and icy translucent outsole. Jumpman embroidery on the lateral ankle with “Nike Air” heel branding completes the design. A White and Pink midsole atop a Grey rubber outsole completes the design.
Check out the photos below, and look for the women’s Jordan MVP “Shy Pink” to release on September 5th at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $165 USD.
