Jordan Brand and Houston Rocket’s Point Guard, Chris Paul, unveiled reiterations to the classic CP3.XII – accelerating the shoe’s evolution with Paul’s unstoppable career.
The shoe was purposely crafted to advance features dedicated to basketball performance. The strap that once mirrored Paul’s favorites – the Nike Adjust Force and the Nike Air Jet Flight, has been removed and replaced with a performance knit on the upper, a leather quarter panel and a forefoot lacing system for lateral stability.
Zoom Air exists on the forefoot for responsiveness, with a modified herringbone traction pattern. An owl logo on the tongues represents Paul’s 14-year basketball career, and is made up of family members’ zodiac symbols.
Three colorways will kick off the first wave of release, the “Unfinished Business” (Black/Red), “Leader of the Pack” (Wolf Grey) and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” “Multicolor) are inspired by an element of Paul’s career.
