Jordan Brand to Stop Production on the Air Jordan 3

Published on

In addition to previewing Jordan Brand’s upcoming Holiday 2014 Releases, along with their 2015 “Remastered” Releases, the brand also broke some breaking news. According to Jordan Brand VP of Footwear David Schechter, the brand will stop production on the Air Jordan 3 – which means it will be a long time before see them again in any-kind-of form.

“The Air Jordan 3 is going back in the vault. The last color just dropped,” said Schechter.

Adding to the news, he also said the “Sport Blue” colorway was the last pair to drop and that when they do end up bringing back the classic silhouette, you can expect several remastered versions.

So now that the Air Jordan 3 is going bye bye for some time, what do you make of the breaking news. Do you think it actually is a good idea due to all the colorways we’ve seen these past few years – kind of overproducing them? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
