Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is back in the sneaker industry, but this time he has officially been named the President of Basketball Operations for PUMA.

PUMA has plans to revive their basketball lineup, following recent signings of Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III, whom both received multi-year contracts. They’ve also signed Walt Clyde Frazier to a lifetime contract during a special event at the PUMA Hoops HQ in Brooklyn, NY.
Hov will be focusing on both the lifestyle and performance side of the category while bringing back their basketball lineup. An official announcement on Jay-Z’s role with the brand will soon be revealed.
