J.Crew and New Balance are teaming up once again to release a special edition J.Crew x New Balance 998 Greenback collaboration inspired by the American paper currency.

Dating back to the 1860’s, as a nod to the legal tender that was issued by the U.S. during the Civil War, which is why they received the name, “Greenback.”

This New Balance 998 features a Green premium suede upper with smooth and perforated paneling, along with Gold contrasting accents. The shoe is completed with White laces, matching midsole resting atop a Black rubber outsole.

Look for the J.Crew x New Balance 998 “Greenback” to release on October 15th at select J.Crew locations in limited quantities.
