The Old Skool just can’t seem to stop popping up in collabs recently, but Harris Tweed is here to lace it up with some unique treatment of its own. For starters, they ditched the typical canvas construction in favor of some textured woven material and accents that shift the vibe entirely.

Blues, pinks, and browns are woven into the upper, tying everything together with a design you’d more likely find on some retro clothing. The iconic Sidestripe takes on a dirty appearance with black fabric adorned with colorful crystals, and the only place you’ll find authentic Harris Tweed® branding is on the tongue and left shoe’s lateral collar.

Lastly, the worn out sole completes the look without taking attention away from its accomplices. The rubber is pre-distressed with scuffs and worn down patches, another detail on what seems to be a release focused more on fabrics than reinventing the Old Skool. Despite some additional flair from textures and gems, you can still easily identify the silhouette.
