Nike SB and Japanese anime franchise Gundam are teaming up to release two special edition colorways of the Nike Dunk High.

This “Project Unicorn” collection includes two Nike SB Dunk High styles offered in White and Blue-based colorways taking inspiration from the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, a novel from the Gundam universe in celebration of its 15th Anniversary. Each are inspired by the popular Japanese figurines, Gundam. Specifically, the Unicorn Gundam is the source of inspiration for the duo as seen with the logo printed on the heel counter. The collab features interchangeable Swoosh branding as a nod to its toy counterpart while the panels throughout the upper mirror the look of the fictional Gundam suit.

Gundam Nike SB Dunk High Release Date

Look for the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High in its “Banshee” colorway to release October 9th exclusively at skate shops followed by the “Unicorn” pair on November 10th via SNKRS and StockX. The retail price tag is set at $110 USD.

UPDATE 10/23: After being pushed back to November 16th, Nike has moved up the date for the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High “Unicorn” to November 10th.

UPDATE 10/8: Nike has once again pushed the release of the Gundam SB Dunk High “Unicorn” that will now launch November 16th via SNKRS.

UPDATE 9/17: Nike continues to push releases, and now the Gundam x Nike SB Dunk High “Unicorn” will launch October 12th via SNKRS.

UPDATE 9/8: In honor of the collab between Gundam and Nike SB, there will be two limited edition figures and matching keychains released: QMSV RX-0 Unicorn Gundam and 02 Banshee (Destroy Mode) Ver. Nike SB.

The figurines will be available for pre-order at Gundam retailers in China later this month for ¥799 CNY, with shipping slated for January 2022.
