A new friends-and-family version of the Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 has surfaced, showing a slightly different take on the pair that already released earlier this year.
The unreleased colorway was spotted on someone from Devin Booker’s circle and stays very close to the retail version. Most of the same black suede and nylon build is still there, along with the white technical-style lettering on the midsole and Fragment’s double-bolt logo. The main change comes on the medial Swoosh, where the blue accent has been replaced with purple.
It is a small difference, but that fits the way Fragment usually approaches its Nike collaborations. Instead of changing the whole shoe, the brand often keeps things simple and focuses on smaller color and branding details.
The pair surfaced around the same time as several other Book 2s connected to Booker during Phoenix Suns Media Day, including the newly revealed Futura x Nike Book 2.
For now, this Fragment Design x Nike Book 2 appears to be limited to friends and family, with no public release announced.
