Back in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” was debuted by Michael Jordan with a “Black Tongue” – which has yet to see a retro release. For the first time, that particular version of the shoe is possibly set to release with the help of fragment design.
This Fragment edition of the Air Jordan 1 is dressed in the Chicago Bulls colors having a Black, Varsity Red, and White color scheme. The shoe features a White-based upper with Black overlaying the midfoot, Nike Swoosh, tongues (nod to the original) and toe area, while Red takes care of the upper collar, heel and outsole. Finishing off the design is “Nike Air” branded tongues and the Fragment insignia on the heel.

No release details were provided, but samples of the Fragment x Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” with its original “Black Tongue” have surfaced. The shoe is currently rumored to release sometime in 2019, but nothing has been confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates.
