Foot Locker Will Not Be Selling Yeezy Restocks

Published on

UPDATE 8/7/23: According to Brendan Dunne of Complex, Foot Locker had originally planned to take on stock of Yeezys but later decided against it. Foot Locker, the sources say, was afraid of the backlash that selling shoes associated with West, who now goes by Ye, could generate. The retailer also ran into difficulties trying to integrate a charity aspect into its sale of Yeezys, sources said.

Foot Locker, a top retailer of athletic footwear and apparel, is reportedly in talks to resume selling Yeezy sneakers in August. The two companies had a falling out in 2022 due to controversial statements by Kanye West, but it seems they have reconciled.

If the deal goes through, it would be a significant victory for Foot Locker. Yeezy sneakers are highly popular and sought-after worldwide, attracting numerous customers to Foot Locker. Moreover, selling Yeezys would enhance the company’s brand recognition.

The potential reunion between Foot Locker and Yeezy has sparked excitement among sneakerheads and fashion enthusiasts. Many have eagerly awaited the collaboration’s revival and are eager to get their hands on the latest Yeezy sneakers.

It’s still too early to confirm whether Foot Locker and Yeezy will reach an agreement. However, if they do, it would be a major triumph for both companies.

Sources have taken to social media to share that Foot Locker will release popular styles of Yeezy Slides and Yeezy Boost 350 V2 throughout August. Stay tuned for more details.
