It’s the year of our Lord 2020. And for anyone hoping for an improvement from 2019, better luck next year. The Air Max 2090 is an updated, futuristic version of the Air Max 90. While this modern take of the iconic silhouette breathes new life into the line, there’s still enough design cues that link it back to its predecessor and gives it a familiar feel, such as the back heel tab, the medial and lateral sides of the upper, and the modified portion of the ridged midsole surrounding the heel Air unit.
