Florida Divers Find Million Dollar Nike SB Cocaine Haul

Published on

Florida, that sunshine state known for its beaches, theme parks, and maybe the occasional unexpected discovery, strikes again. This time, it’s not a rare seashell or a sunken treasure chest, but a shipment of illegal drugs with a surprising fashion statement.

Scuba divers exploring the waters off the Florida Keys thought they stumbled upon some ocean floor garbage. Thankfully, they decided to clean it up. Turns out, this “trash” was actually 25 cleverly wrapped packages of suspected cocaine, each weighing a hefty kilogram. The total street value? A cool million dollars.

But here’s the weird twist: These weren’t your average drug packages. The bundles were emblazoned with a fake version of the iconic Nike SB logo, the Swoosh associated with the brand’s skateboarding shoes. Authorities haven’t commented on the meaning behind the designer drugs, but it certainly adds a layer of bizarre to the whole situation.

This isn’t the first time the Florida Keys have played a role in a million-dollar drug bust. Just a month prior, another lucky beachgoer found a package containing 65 pounds of cocaine, also valued at over a million bucks. Looks like the crystal clear waters of the Keys are becoming an unexpected drop zone for illicit activities.

The confiscated cocaine has been handed over to the U.S. Border Patrol, and authorities are likely investigating the source and destination of this unique designer drug shipment. In the meantime, this story serves as a strange reminder that sometimes, what appears to be trash can turn out to be a whole lot more. Just maybe not the kind of “Just Do It” moment Nike had in mind.
