Back in March, a leaked sample of the first Fear of God x adidas Basketball silhouette surfaced, which Jerry Lorenzo responded saying that the official basketball shoe won’t be revealed until April 19th during the Holiday Howl showing of Fear of God’s 8th collection. Well, that day has come and we finally got our first official look at the Fear of God x adidas Basketball model.
The shoe itself resembles Jerry Lorenzo’s past work and comes dressed in similar tones he used on silhouettes like the Fear of God 1 and Fear of God Raid. It features a mid-cut build with engineered mesh uppers, Three Stripes-styled caging for the lateral support, with traditional toggle lacing system. Co-branding on the insoles atop a thick midsole with adidas’ Lightstrike foam cushioning completes the design.
