Florida A&M University (FAMU) is starting the year strong by debuting a fresh lineup of exclusive LeBron Player Exclusives (PEs). As part of its ongoing six-year collaboration with Nike, initiated in 2021, the HBCU revealed four stunning sneaker designs tailored for its athletes. These new releases highlight the LeBron 22 and the NXXT Gen AMPD silhouettes, offered in both “home” and “away” colorways to complement the Rattlers’ iconic green-and-orange uniforms.

The LeBron 22 stands out with its premium nubuck upper and vibrant orange accents, exuding elegance and team pride. Meanwhile, the NXXT Gen AMPD brings a bold edge with its pebbled leather overlays and striking details. Both designs prominently feature FAMU’s distinctive rattlesnake logo on the tongue, a testament to the school’s rich athletic tradition.

These sneakers are more than just footwear—they’re a celebration of FAMU’s commitment to excellence on and off the court. With their unique designs and high-quality construction, they elevate the university’s partnership with Nike to new heights.

In 2023, Nike released a similar FAMU-themed collection with the LeBron 7, giving fans a taste of the collaboration. However, this latest collection is strictly for the Rattlers’ athletes, making it a truly exclusive drop.

As FAMU athletes hit the court in these head-turning PEs, the sneakers serve as a reminder of the university’s impact in both sports and culture. While sneakerheads may long for a public release, these PEs remain a unique treasure for the FAMU family.
